For rib fractures, when the patients followed up with regular bone scan and/or CT (we often do that), the rates get pretty high. Check out this article from Korea by DW Kim. He reported 16.5%. www.clinical-breast-cancer.com/article/S152...

My institution has some experience for 29-30Gy SIB boost, though not evaluated extensively. For breast swelling and chronic edema, this gets more concerns when the patients has large breast, and East Asian population has a tendency to have small breasts.
