¿Nos hace la lectura más empáticos? He disfrutado leyendo "Lectura salvaje" de @aceballos.bsky.social Es un diálogo rico entre la literatura y la cognición. Trata fenómenos aún poco explorados y por tanto con mucho ruido y pocas conclusiones robustas.

Just accepted "Eye-movement modelling as a tool to foster digital reading competencies and misconception change when reading webpages in L2" in the Journal of Computer Assisted Learning. This is PhD work by Juliana do Amaral now at Universidade Federal Santa Catarina Brasil. Stay tunned for details

Hasta el gorro de predicciones absurdas sobre las competencias educativas del futuro. ¿Que la lectura, escritura y las matemáticas serán "habilidades fuera de foco" para 2030? ¡Anda ya! Me recuerda a la pamplina de la pirámide del aprendizaje de los 70, que afirmaba que leer era inútil.

Aunque el libro de Khan tiene un claro sesgo positivo de partida sobre el papel de la IA en el aprendizaje, para ser justos ofrece reflexiones esenciales sobre qué papel debería jugar. Huir del uso de la IA como simple chat, y avanzar hacia su uso como tutor inteligente.
