I kinda like how Slate is adopting a similar design standard, but the Ami is so much more efficient

I know it’s not too late for me. I’m just opening up a new chapter of my life, only chapter 2 was kinda just ok and is ending with a clumsy cliffhanger and I have no idea what I’m gonna put in chapter 3. Maybe ch2 was the setup for the ch3 payoff? I do still have a ton of wild unfinished projects…

I hate having to prioritize things, which sucks because I’ve always offset the money I don’t have by trying to build the things I want for cheap... I’m only getting more debilitated, and I don’t even have a long term plan for anything, so I have no idea what my next 10 years will even look like.

But the last 10 years of my life have been so creatively messy and disjointed that I don’t have anything I can directly point to and say “look at everything I accomplished in the last 10 years.”

Idk. Turning 30 as a creative and feeling burnt out kinda sucks.

Yeah I get charged more when I go over 1000kw in a month, which happens most months already so my electric kinda expensive :/
I would have to imagine charging stations don’t cost as much but I don’t have any experience with that

I did the math on charging an EV at home and it came out at an operating cost that was basically equivalent to a 35mpg gas car :v
I do want an EV at some point though

Tbf I’m trying to figure out what my “dream 3 car garage” is, and my fuck around weekend off-road car is solidly the Juke, I want the Ford Flex to be my utility vehicle/ tow rig and the Kia was (still kinda is) the fuel efficient daily. It doesn’t need to be lifted, just a good cool option

Trust me I did a lot of research, the way modern chassis’s are designed, especially with regards to the Beetles fenders, does not look good if you chop too far into them. I think the Baja bug only worked in the 60s.
Honestly the Juke might be the only modern car that delivers “Baja bug”

I liked the Dune when it came out but it seemed like the second I tried to make it any more aggressive than stock, it just stopped working, it’s like something about the new beetles body style just doesn’t work imo

Did you know that would complete the trifecta of lifted car ideas I had when I was looking for my first car? It was between the Juke, Soul and last gen Beetle, and I picked the Juke because it had AWD

I had a 3D model for a lifted Beetle but nothing I came up with looked any good 😔
