This is the same company that stuck “Super” at the start of all their SNES sequels, and “64” on all their N64 sequels.

Jokes aside they’ve gotten better, but they’ve only released one console since the royal screw up of the Wii U. If I were them I’d be cautious with it rather than creative.

Switch 2 would make sense. It retains the brand recognition they’ve built with Switch, but also clearly marks it as a sequel/successor to the Switch. That’s half the reason people thought Wii U was an accessory for the Wii.
