I'm gonna struggle through this rabbit-hole for a bit. I just figured out (well, found out) how to decrypt the mach kernel image, and then figured out that that's not where the s5l8900 nand driver is locatrd

Looks like the issue happens when I enable write functionality, when I disable flushing pages to the NAND, everything works fine. And I have a feeling that the original code was working because they didn't allow for that either.
So I wanted to make the NAND implementation in the iPod Touch QEMU fork using mmap, and it seems to work, until you realize, there is no Settings app! (but sometimes it does show up and I can't explain it)

I finally came up with an explanation to the Monty Hall problem that works for me. To recap, you have three doors, you pick one, and the presenter opens up one door that loses (N-1 doors). Do you switch?
