Here's the problem with terms like "affordable and accessible": it means different things to different income groups.
What we need is:
Universal single payer healthcare for all, sliding scale.
Oh. And tax the rich!

Will testify to this. I have very little wiggle room in monthly/yearly budget. If I can't afford Dr visit, labs or medication, it is going to cut my life short. I've worked all my life, volunteered for my community, followed the law, paid taxes and tried like hell not to be in this position. #RIP-me

I'm just seeing this! I'm sorry you had a glitch, hate that when it happens but I'm glad you're up and running again.

I have an adequate editor, but she works for free. Her name is Lisa. It's me. I am my own editor (for now, until I can afford a real one and then my appreciation will be boundless).

My drug plan now has a deductible AND a new "co-insurance" fee that is NOT subject to deductible. So basically, I'm paying more for a drug plan that covers less. The clinic systems here have been mostly bought up by Optum/United Health Care & they are beginning to limit which ins plans they accept.

One thing I like about a PBJ is that is does not need refrigeration, so if I think I might need one later I can carry one in the car or book bag (hoping it doesn't become a squashed PBJ, still edible but not pleasing to the eye) and it can save me from a quick shop for an emergency snack.

I'm currently in love with the raspberry spread from Costco. My mom used to give us children peanut butter, bacon and honey sandwiches (yes please!). I had a co-worker who ate peanut butter and onion sandwiches (no thanks!).

OK, but it always turns into an argument: toasted or not?

Prices “down,” bills exploding.
Tariffs “don’t raise prices,” except when they do.
SNAP empty, Argentina overflowing.
This isn’t economics — it’s gaslighting with spreadsheets.

One third is overstated, it's more like 20%, and they are indeed traitors. One third of voters don't bother casting a vote at all, their (past?) apathy is a danger to us too. But, the majority of Americans, voting or not, oppose this shit and now we're all gonna have to be loud & hit the streets

Here's the thing: We can actually be interested in more than one.
Care about affordability & the class divide, that covers a lot and is existential for me; but I'm ALSO interested in seeing real justice being served to the wealthy powerful cowards who preyed on vulnerable kids (and the nation).

You're not wrong. I've worked all my life, it shouldn't be so much of a struggle... and I only eat half as much as I used to! But I have more medical expenses now than I did decades ago and everything from food to utilities has gotten very expensive.

Nearly all white men. Doesn't that speak volumes!
