The real issue with the Kingdom Hearts series for me is BBS was a reboot that took over the plotline of KH1-Com that KH2 for me totally failed to follow up on.
The balance of disney and Square Enix's artstyle fell apart in KH2 and BBS just makes the series an offshoot of Final Fantasy/BBS than KH.
