i think i will reset dash/double jump when you get hurt, even though Hollow Knight (primary inspiration) doesn't do that. it means you could theoretically tank some damage to sequence break but it also should be less frustrating when platforming. #gamedev #godotengine

i am thinking to smooth out the normals on the main character, but going all the way to 1.0 smoothness loses some of the retro/low-poly charm. but it sure does look smooth. #hardchoices #godot #gamedev

added bespoke mesh pieces for each sphere octant so that it looks better when a section is transparent #godot #gamedev
