No easy fix but long term policies required. From density policy to tax.

If we truely want a better society we’d have a population that feels like its basic needs are safe.

Not trying to burst any bubbles; but Spotify is over.

They are airing ICE recruitment ads, the CEO has been investing in military/AI tech, they barely pay their artists; sometimes a percentage of a cent per stream, they promote “fake/AI artist” playlists, and there’s major concerns about data use.

It's decided.

Europe is closing the tap on Russian fossil fuels once and for all.

Energy independence starts now.

All the best Australians are on BlueSky imho
lol Malcolm Roberts asking why Bluesky is exempted from the social media ban. He claims it could be "political bias" because it is a "left wing hangout" and X is included and it's a "conservative hangout".

eSafety says Bluesky has been assessed as "very low risk" with around 50,000 Australian users

ICE raids are cruel, inhumane, and do nothing to serve public safety.

My responsibility is to be the mayor to each and every person that calls this city their home. That includes millions of immigrants— of which I am one.

I am sure you have had the same experience Crickets where standing up for the right thing doesn’t feel like anything other than the only thing to do

Parents do it a lot for their kids, kids do it for older parents

It isn’t rare

I have spent a lot of time researching when it doesn’t happen

🙏❤️

I find it much easier to be courageous for others than myself

In the moment (both moments) it didn’t feel like courage though because there wasn’t a choice as far as I was concerned

It just had to be done

It comes from my mum- she was exactly the same

Good role model that woman ❤️❤️❤️

I twice refused to do things as a registrar which consultants were demanding which were patently wrong

Once in the context of a mentally disabled patient

I was prepared to quit if necessary and was told I was easily replaceable

Ok 🤷‍♀️

Integrity and protecting people are both more important

Seeing abuse of women and abuse of older people as entirely separate, non-overlapping, problems seems a near text-book example of what Kimberlé Crenshaw talked about as an intersectionality problem.

I honestly don’t care if you think I’m a conspiracy theorist.

I believe that DC shooting was a false flag op to justify keeping National Guard troops in DC.

It’s precisely the kind of thing a desperate man would do to keep the military around him, which he can control.
