what coach ukai said just made me realise that a great setter doesn’t only set what’s best for his hitters, but also one that pulls them to greater heights. he doesn’t always have to oblige to his hitters’ demands, which reminded me of oikawa insisting on a set when kindaichi asked to adjust it

there were moments when he would revert to his old self and then moments of silence. i think he was unconsciously trying to control himself but was also very frustrated and confused about the right way to be. him being backhandedly complimented for the very thing he worked hard for (+)

i’ve always been fond of date tech’s aone since the time they lost against karasuno and he shook hands with hinata. he sees hinata as a worthy opponent, and does not look down on him just bc he doesn’t have strong fundamentals. he’s big and awkward, so opposite to hinata. it’s so endearing +

all of karasuno are genuinely so endearing to me how do people choose favourites. also i found out that yamaguchi becomes the captain during his third year so i’m so looking forward to see him grow more confident!! baby is always apologising, like nooo speak your thoughts we want to listen
