Right that's exactly how i read this too. The caption provided kinda robs that context away till you watch the clip and it's like, oh it's obvious that he's saying it wouldn't be a progressive.

Wait watching the clip isn't he just suggesting that they wouldn't elect a progressive to take his place if he steps down? Because progressives are a minority among the democrats, they'd elect another establishment leader

He's not my favorite but he's in a lot of ways better than the average
But yeah his unwillingness to ruffle feathers of the democratic party lately is very annoying

Hm. I'm torn. This would be good in the long term, if we continue to have a democracy, but would cost us the health care that the Democrats are fighting for in the first place, which is devastating.

I don't use Bluesky to be their research study. I do not really care what they want from me, I'm not here for them.
I'm going to make Bluesky the experience I want it to be, and anyone upset with that can kick sand.

I always do vote, as harm reduction, but I feel like we'd have a far easier time motivating people by actually standing for something with a strong plan to materially improve people's lives and end corruption rather than just "haha yeah but it could be a hell of a lot worse"

Bandai Namco and Square Enix aren't artists, they're businessmen who own the property. To them, it really is simply "content".
