This Hunger Games prequel just arrived this afternoon, and I'm so stoked to settle into my spot on the couch and read it now. And yes, of course I recommend YA lit to adults. Especially when it's well-written and timely.

I wasn't satisfied with this Mooncat nail polish (Freshly Bitten) alone, so I added a Holo Taco (Flakie Holo Taco), and it improved the manicure greatly! Painting my nails is a nice act of self care that calms me down in scary times. If you'd like, show me your nails, and I'll hype you up!

I'm going through old makeup I saved for art projects and found these gems from my high school/undergrad days (mainly the Y2K era). Obviously, I'm not trying them to save my poor face, but damn I went through way too many blue eye products for someone with green eyes. I had fun back then regardless!

Found this nail polish topper in a bag of old cosmetics I save for weird art projects (on canvas, not me) and to commemorate the past like a packrat. This is from the early 2000s, and I have no clue why I bought it. I made poor cosmetics choices back in my youth - a lot.

Fun fact: My first CD was Green Day's 1994 album, Dookie. Billie Joe Armstromg was the first out, bi famous person I knew about, and that helped young-and-queer Paige immemsely. Now I recommend you listen to the very queer song "Bobby Sox."
