When George Floyd was murdered I began thinking about this exact thing… why aren’t we demanding educated professionals in police positions?
Solution for US police, require university level: 4 year law course, human rights theory, humanities, communications, first 2 years as community / social services with no weapon, and mandatory physical fitness that must be maintained during career. 21 year to 42 year age caps.

I do not think in the year 2025 that we should continue to accept a reality which sees women paid just $0.75 for every $1 men are paid for doing the same job.
