You bet they did. And we did too. But then you do not want one of the trees that has been groomed. You want one with big spaces. Then we might light a candle - for sure in Holland and sometimes here depending on the tree! Mostly its the Christmas eve and morning where they are lit. 🎄

When the power goes out and the sump is not working - thats a flooded basement here too then! We had a few biggies over the years. We did finally invest in a sump pump that comes on when the power goes out!

And they have memories too and let each other know who is kind to them and who not. Remembering a Documentary from Suzuki about the crows passing info to other Crows too.
