This whole thing with the MOU and Alberta, is messy. Why did the carney govt take this approach to doing this?
It’s just so unpopular and divisive. Keeping Canada united is paramount to national building, and that hasn’t even started.

The road to agreement with Canadian Indigenous peoples, is for it to be done beforehand, NOT as an afterthought. The same happened with Bill C5. Indigenous communities cannot build trust with this government when they consulted after the fact.
