Gloria is probably the only song I don’t like off of GNX. I hate when rappers do the whole “I’ll rap about xyz as if I’m talking about a girl” thing. It’s usually too on-the-nose and they can never help but reveal the point at the end, making the metaphor not as heavy.

In the last 12 months there were 36 victims of violent acts against trans people
The youngest was only 14 years old
7 in 10 victims were people of color
And 4 in 10 victims were cruelly misgendered by police and media after their deaths
