Together, these will effectively block all new housing in Louisville for years to come, making the city more expensive and pushing all but the very wealthy further out into suburban sprawl.

The second will dramatically increase fees to build new homes, including adding 3 new fees for water, sewer, and wastewater on top of $60k of existing tap fees.

The first of the two questions is on rezoning. It would effectively block all new housing in Redtail Ridge and Centennial Valley by creating an 'affordable housing' mandate that's deliberately impossible to achieve. It violates state law and will draw the city into expensive lawsuits.
