For real
I'm so itching to go looking through local archives now to see how many AIDS deaths during the period can be attributed to this, compared to infidelity, because that's what's being given 100% of the blame ATM

HOLY--
I know these are pretty bad usually, but this was Particularly Bad

Her Loss
November 23, 2025 at 4:14 PM
This really has no usecases. It just destroys the brain and makes consumers sick
November 23, 2025 at 3:43 PM
Yiiiiikes! That's real bad!
November 23, 2025 at 3:43 PM
That's impressive. IT really fucked with the balance in your brain, huh?

Did you get a stomach ache too, or was it just the motion sickness?
November 23, 2025 at 3:40 PM
Yup! For real!!
And it has the added benefit for AI slop that it in itself becomes a focal point on a page, but it doesn't ahve any value other than stealing attention and then making people sick. It's quite interesting actually

(though I'm sorry that you had that experience)

(And here I'm using "aesthetic", as in, the classic philosophic branch Aesthetics)
November 23, 2025 at 3:26 PM
So here you have your aesthetic argument for why AI is not art, not just the lexical reason
November 23, 2025 at 3:25 PM
So rhythm exists in visual art. It is, in many cases, what defines art as art.
And AI doesn't use it, At All. Because it can't. Because it's code. Because humanity can create the illusion of organic chaos, because we are organic creatures, living and breathing in a chaotic world
November 23, 2025 at 3:25 PM
This exists in all art. Music is actually the fourth level of classic Pythagorean study: Arithmetic, geometry, mathematics, and music. This is what architectural theory is based on, and therefore what most artistic principles are based on
November 23, 2025 at 3:25 PM
So! For those who don't know, visual rhythm vs no visual rhythm looks something like this:

(think of a drummer playing with a beat vs just ticking at the seconds. One is monotonous and static, the other is organic and lively)

My eyesight is walk-into-walls bad. I don't need to squint at a painting to see the composition, when I'm without aid, so it's definitely worth keeping in mind, that when you squint (IE make the image blurry) you can see shit you couldn't when you were overwhelmed by all the detail
