A balanced take on AI and use in research. Many positives but also caution needed. It's an interesting time!
AI can be a powerful tool for scientists. But it can also fuel research misconduct
How can the science community minimise the risks but maximise the benefits of AI?

Last push! Please help 🙏 Still 15 more responses needed, so close to our target to have Australia included in this research #🇦🇺
Blueskyers in Australia, could you pls help? We're doing a global research study on health behaviours and invite Australians over 18 to contribute to a 10 minute survey. You can find more info and do the survey at: www.soscisurvey.de/cc_AUS1/ #Australia #research #health #help

Very happy to see this report today! Cervical cancer is a b*tch. #womenshealth
Research led by UCL reports a phase-3 clinical trial showing a 40% reduction in the risk of death from cervical cancer and a 35% reduction in the risk of cancer coming back within at least 5 years. Their findings have been published in the Lancet. 🧪💊 #medsky

We don't know how many animals are used in research in Australia and we don't have a central body or funding to support alternatives to animal use in research 😯 #academicsky 🐒🐖🐁

The world is shifting away from using animals in research. Will Australia get left behind?
Australia’s lack of transparency and funding leave it on the outer as researchers worldwide explore alternatives for training, study and testing
