After some Rauchbier I fancied a change of pace and we've opted for a couple of Kellerbier from Klosterbräu.
A lovely Kellerbier. Klosterbräu is an underrated brewery but we always enjoy their beer and the food looks very good. The Bamberg Rathaus which sits in the middle of the Regnitz river. The weather today has been fantastic, clear skies, cool but warm in the sun.

Today we did a brewery tour of a well known Bamberg brewery. It was mostly a walking tour with a bit of a brewery tour towards the end.

I have a dualit. Not the newer ones that pop up on their own, they're not as good quality.

All the parts are replaceable & can be done by anyone. I've replaced the elements multiple times, recently replaced the wiring & changed the cable and plug to a German plug. I got my toaster in 1999.
A four slice Dualit toaster. Mine is similar but from 1999 and is referred to as Trigger's broom as so much of it has been replaced over the years.

With being in England last week I didn't get to attend the annual Zollpackhof Oktoberfest or go to the Wies'n in Munich. I'm making up for it by having a wee Augustiner Festbier at Augustiner am Gendarmenmarkt.

Bath it's been very wet but absolutely lovely. Excellent beer and much entertainment with the Jane Austen fans.

Definitely a balcony beer sort of day today. The swifts that have been around all summer are gone so it's a lot quieter. At least the bats (four of them! Not pictured) are still here to put on a show of mad flying for us.

First match of the new season for Saints today. Hopefully a home win, although we have a terrible record for the first games of the season.

Is it not a lined glass? The ones we get here are lined so you get 500mls plus head.

We are still in Goldesel, @akrennmair.bsky.social ordered a Solei as a snack.
A side plate with a brined egg in a small glass bowl with a small metal jug of mustard sauce, a tea spoon and a napkin on it. The brined egg has been sliced in half. The egg yolk had been removed from the half of egg white and some mustard sauce is being poured into it. The egg yolk that was removed is placed back into the egg white with the mustard sauce. And devour if you like eggs and mustard sauce.

We went for a walk and ended up going for a beer at Weiß Blau and then onto Goldesel in Charlottenburg.
