In each cozy reading room (that feels like your bestie's granny's living room!) I found titles from authors of color, queer authors, local authors, indie authors, immigrant stories, fat positive stories. Not just one or two – whole bookshelves w/ titles some bigger bookstores decided not to carry.

I know it’s frustrating to have a job to do & ppl often don’t open the door or hear/acknowledge you - but these are scary times & such aggression can swiftly be read as TROUBLE IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR not “Friendly neighborhood fix it dude!”
