Oh wow! I'm a monthly regular to Long Point/Port Rowan, and would like to recommend the best downscale establishment, Chip Ship. I was there last Saturday, just after seeing this hummingbird at the banding station and just before heading to Big Creek Marsh to see Sandhill cranes!
My head in a dill pickle cut-out, just before eating way too many dill pickle fries. Fries, piled high with finely sliced dill pickles. Very, very generous portion size. Ruby-throated hummingbird, with face into a jewel weed flower. Two sandhill cranes on a grass-covered walking trail.

Got an apple peeler, corer, and spiralizer today. Used it to make "deconstructed pierogies" on our charcoal grill. Two potatoes were stuffed with Akawi cheese, thyme, winter savory from our garden, with rosemary and butter between the spirals. Cores and other spirals also cooked! #ChemistsWhoCook

The inside appears less stuffed, but cheese and fully cooked herbs are still visible. Dinner, on a patterned blue and white dish. Clockwise from top are spiced and well-cooked potato spirals, cheese balls with a drizzle of vinegar, sour cream, more potato spirals but with different spice, the stuffed potatoe, and in the center are the cooked potato cores and ends, seasoned with a homemade lemon pepper blend.

A pile of chopped cherries, beet, carrot, green onion, and garlic. Seven raw bean-veggie burger patties. Three of the veggie patties on a charcoal grill along with two processed, frozen meat burgers. Full meal, plated: clockwise from top - homemade potato salad, grilled asparagus, homemade pickled corn and jalapenos, and the veggie burger, topped with cheese, tomato, basil, chipotle sauce, on a lettuce leaf "bun".
