The conversations we have with people about trying to live a decent life with a chronic condition, can seem at odds with a benefits system that essentially requires people to be ill & not working, or well & in work. For so many people it's just not as simple as that, & the system is too inflexible.

Since the 1st Jan 140 ppl have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer they probably had some vague symptoms like indigestion - weight loss changes in bowel habit - back pain - lethargy there will have GP visits but 45% of ppl will be diagnosed at A and E #sethslegacy pls share

Absolutely and a lot of work has been undone in moving towards effectiveness and we are going round the hampstet wheel again until change agents get the support they Need to manifest appropriate changes. Saying what we need is one thing manifesting safety & permissions is quite another in some areas

There is so much underpinning current paradigms that needs to be understood in order to adjust foundational trust and stability before sustainable changes can form. Systems change is not about low hanging fruit. Is building very small blocks, lots of listening to understand and trust building

There are so many biases on metrics. We had something to work with but we also Need to be aware of the entrenched bias that are involved.
