I really dislike all of the choices for UI in the major streaming services. Between vertical-scroll rows and that thing where the highlighted tile gets like 10% bigger with no border, I hate browsing for anything at all.

I don't know how to break it to the people who are apparently just learning it from Eggers' NOSFERATU for the first time, but one of the massive engines thrumming beneath the surface of pretty much all gothic horror is "women being extremely horny."

Nosferatu was a bit of a letdown personally, my least favored of Eggers's work by a healthy amount. It just didn't emotionally resonate with my like his previous work and felt less well-crafted and intentional, somewhat owing to the larger scale.

Old news, but I just found out Patrick McHale isn't writing the Redwall adaptation anymore and so its probably gonna just be more of the exceedingly average adaptation pablum we've had for years now, like Foundation or Wheel of Time.

Jumped on the Okami train with the sequel news and the sale. I feel... maybe oversold on it? Its enjoyable but isn't too remarkable, and its sound design is some of the most torturous I've experienced in a while.
