Hope this gives you some ideas of how to combine different yarns and textures, I really want to try using Cosmic Flower Bouclé DK with Deep Plum Halo Lace.

The fabric is so soft! I’m using a 5mm needle as the extra strand of yarn makes this combo knit up to an Aran tension, but if you’re using Bouclé DK on its own, you’d need a 4mm, as it’s a standard DK weight.

Halo Lace works so well held together with a strand of Bouclé DK too, I’m making a hat using Halo Lace in Wisteria and Bouclé DK in Moonlight held together at the moment, and the fabric is dreamy, and SO SOFT!!

Always fun to be absolutely roasted by small children 😂 apparently the four year old is really into the concept of the ‘odd one out’ right now, and the seven year old now remembers how old the adults are, rather than than asking how old we are every time!
