After a busy show season, with one still to go (Yuletide Yarnies at Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings on Saturday 13th December), there’s so much yarn that I need to add to the website!

So here’s the first new thing for the festive season, the return of my Festive Sock Set!

I’ve wanted to create a Deep Plum shade for quite a while now, and thanks to some new dyes here it is on Aglow DK, next to Cinnamon (which I think the perfect contrast) and the ever popular Just A Soupçon.

All these shades and more are available now on Aglow DK, my Merino, Silk and Yak base.

Went looking for inspiration this week for contrasting colour for fan favourite Musselburgh hat from designer @ysoldaknits.bsky.social. Wasn’t even looking to buy yarn.

I used @lottieknits.bsky.social Aglow DK. It's a beautiful Merino/Silk/Yak blend so it's soft, thick, shiny, bouncy, warm & the silk and yak make it wonderfully drapey. The colourway I chose is called Just a Soupçon and it's a really beautiful deep red.
