Why is this acceptable bicycle infrastructure?

It doesn't even unflood...

Imagine a road designed this way?

#strava sues #garmin and the next Monday I experience my first Strava outage in a long time.

I wonder if Garmin's attribution requirement for Strava wasn't implemented well?

With all due respect, your original post is incredibly trite and sarcastic. :-)

Hopefully your efforts are working towards the common good in the face of the likes of Murdoch and their facist ilk. :-)

Hoo boy... So my long term partner has said on numerous times "Get your hearing tested." because I ask them to repeat themselves, or at least get my attention before talking from the other room.

I didn't tell her I got a test.

I'm a dead man if I bring up the results aren't I?

Perfect place for a car phone mount.

Blocks views of everything.

And yes, it was parked badly. How did you guess?

Very important pickup. My productivity input to society takes a sharp nose dive without this resource.

I wouldn't need to take 35 steps into the house.

But then I'd need an ozito milk fridge...

Except the alt-text: A screenshot of the bsky desktop webpage showing a post complaining about trash left after a vehicle collision, and then a trashy #wankpanzer vehicle ruining the amenity of a local cafe.

Look. They're not wrong, I just *really* don't like their tone.

Thats _interesting_... #strava seems to be interpreting my ride title.. which has pseudo javascript/typescript.

Could you imagine a suburban car commute during peak hours that has this little variability?

A difference of 1.6kmh is tiny.
September 2, 2025 at 12:43 AM
As for research examining "did MHL reduce participation", clearly it did because I rode less because the stackhat was a terrible solution.

MHL can't have increased it because helmets were already available.

My two kids' biggest complaint about riding is the helmet requirement :-)

I feel you. The bike commute was brutal (for a Melburnian anyway).

Flashing lights warning.

I rent.

This is my bedroom light.
