Let's see, the cheapest store bought eggs here are about $3/dozen last i saw. There might still be bacon at 5-6$/lb but I haven't bought any in ages because I raise my own pork. A box of pancake mix is probably $4-6 and potatoes maybe $4 for a bag? So more than $13.

Still don't know why no one is shooting these folks when they bust into houses like that. Masked men smashing down my door are going to be treated like any other burglar or murderer.

Washington state has a law about local police not being allowed to help ICE. If you see someone being taken by ICE you're encouraged to call it in as a kidnapping from what I've seen.

Not according to that 5e Dragonlance campaign setting that came out (Shadow of the Dragon Queen). It said they were the same entity, I nearly fell out of my chair that they canonized that without probably meaning to.

We're just giving cash to the nieces and nephews this year and giving adults home grown pork. If I find a small local shop with something someone will like i will support them. But otherwise the whole holiday nonsense can F off. I'm definitely not supporting those corporate f***s.

I'm aware. My point was that a lot of critical systems rely on antiquated technology.

Probably. The banking industry in the US still uses Cobol for most of their stuff last I heard. I miss WinXP, everything has been pretty bad since except 7.
