I like the Boy Scout Law. A Scout is:

Trustworthy,
Loyal,
Helpful,
Friendly,
Courteous,
Kind,
Obedient [to wise laws, at least],
Cheerful,
Thrifty,
Brave,
Clean,
and Reverent.

In other words, think Steve Rogers or Fred Rogers.
