When you look at the pattern - Roy Moore, Matt Gaetz, Josh Duggar, Mark Foley, Dennis Hastert, countless GOP-linked pastors & officials - it's not coincidence. It's a structural problem baked into authoritarian movements that weaponize morality for power while tolerating abuse within their ranks 🧵

For some reason this calms my brain. It actually makes some sense.
Some folks will get pissed at me for this, but sometimes I think this country deserves Trump. We elected him twice. We had his playbook: Project 2025 and still looked away.
