Thank you. I work very hard to make functional beauty people can work with, and I'm very lucky to have some wonderful women who work with me. (We are an all women shop except for my husband, who does all the spinning and maintenance).

Thank you. We are very grateful he got to move home. Every day in Kentucky he was miserable. The day he retired we started packing :)

I told my husband. 'I'm not where I expected to be, yet I feel like I'm exactly where I'm meant to be.' And since our arrival in March of this year, 5 more women have started small flocks of critical or threatened breeds, which gives me hope.

Ah, no. Actually, the roving is from Elizabeth of the Moors (she's a lovely creamy Wensleydale with hints of soft grey in her wool), and the Jacob is actually from a Jacob sheep named Ever After (called Evie). I name them after family, friends, authors, movie & book characters.

We love it here. My husband wanted to come home (we were in Kentucky for 20 years for his job). And we knew going to my home in MA wouldn't have the things we needed to be successful. Since arriving in March, we have 5 more people who have started sheep farms because we are here. #yarn #fashion

We are small beans, but we brought our wool mill and farm to Fortuna, CA and we created six jobs.

Your work is beautiful. It reminds me of an artist I saw once. She does very light work with watercolors. Wish I could remember her name.

Still not renewing my Disney subscription. I just got the complete X-Files. It's mostly what I watched to fall asleep with, anyway.

In honor of our rescued dogs (and those we have fostered over the decades). We offer gift cards from our mill (yarn, hats, artwork ect) to people that adopt cats and dogs, we flag on TikTok. It's not much ($100 eac) but if it gets these babies a forever home we are happy to do it.

None of the folks I know can even afford the luxury of Starbucks anymore. Shop the local coffee shops. Better food, better vibes.

Thank you very much for replying. I'm trained in oils, watercolor, and pencil (Mass Art a long long time ago) so this was something I'd never seen before. I'll add it to my wish list :)

I love this. I have no idea how it was done but I would love to see this on wall at work.

I don't know you, nor have I been in your shop. But thank you nonetheless for your work. The warm emotional hug I feel when I walk into an independent bookshop is unlike any other store. If I weren't doing what I am, then I like to think I'd be in some cosy seaside town happily selling books myself.

My parents dogs. I'm pretty sure they love them more than all of us. And we are just fine with that :) because dogs are wonderful. Plus unlike them, I am NOT willing to jump out of a helicopter on Cape Cod, grab a human and drag them to shore for a 'good boy' and a cookie.

I'm looking at $20k in tariffs for equipment I need to keep my business in operation since it hasn't been made in USA since the 40's and is now only in Asia or the EU. And waiting has cost me $160,000 in lost productivity since March. I hate this timeline.
