I won this copy of Playmobil Laura signed by all four hosts of the Astra-Award-winning @pewpewbang.bsky.social podcast in the @minnmax.com annual charity auction. I got a Game Boy Color for Xmas in 1999 but only ever had one game for it, so this doubles my collection! Might have to bust it out. 🤓

Finished Suikoden I and moving on to Suikoden II. Do people pronounce Jowy’s name like Joey? Or Jow-ee? I name characters after myself so… are we basically Joey and Jo(e)y? If so, we’re definitely not beating the allegations.

After failing to secure one at launch, and an internal employee raffle, then a second-chance employee raffle, I FINALLY scored one of the limited edition 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro bundles! I had legit given up. I’m still in shock. The packaging is so cool.

Had a fun retro game night with @amyreadsstuff.bsky.social and Russell. Tested my new RetroTINK on the ol’ SNES and it’s so good! Looks leagues better than my old adapter. Finally played Zoop and Mega Man X, messed around with F-Zero, Shaq-Fu, Pilotwings, and more. Good times.

There were so many parallels to current world events in Persona 5, and I see a lot in Metaphor, too. I know it’s just basic societal observations in both, but it jumps out at me either way.
