I won this copy of Playmobil Laura signed by all four hosts of the Astra-Award-winning @pewpewbang.bsky.social podcast in the @minnmax.com annual charity auction. I got a Game Boy Color for Xmas in 1999 but only ever had one game for it, so this doubles my collection! Might have to bust it out. 🤓

Say what you will about camping out to preorder/buy a new console, I’d still trade it for the uniquely frustrating anxiety that comes with trying to preorder them via websites that are besieged by bots. Still, I did manage to score a regular Switch 2 preorder.

Finished Suikoden I and moving on to Suikoden II. Do people pronounce Jowy’s name like Joey? Or Jow-ee? I name characters after myself so… are we basically Joey and Jo(e)y? If so, we’re definitely not beating the allegations.

I don’t think Laura Shigihara gets enough credit for the Plants vs. Zombie soundtrack. I’ve never played those games but that soundtrack is in regular rotation on my work playlist. 👾

I’m glad RPGs have streamlined so much but there’s also something so satisfying to me about just grinding and listening to podcasts.

I know it’s not real but I stg I get superpower level hearing when I’m even just a little high. I can hear ants shifting soil around in my yard and the neighbors from three houses down watching bad YouTube videos in bed.
