When you're (very belatedly at 38) learning to drive, & your overseas colleague is incredibly impressed you're learning to 'properly drive' a manual car rather than an automatic, & you explain to them that in the UK, literally most cars are manual and an automatic is considered an absolute luxury! 🤣

My favourite thing this year has been seeing videos of mostly Americans and Australians apologising to Brits for saying we were bitching about our weather for no reason.
Now they've come here on holiday, and they are agreeing our heat hits very different in all the wrong ways. Even Floridians. 😂

I feel like I'm the only Ghost enjoyer who just cannot get into Sleep Token at all. I appreciate what they do, and good luck to them, but they're just not my cup of tea. It seems everyone I've seen who loved Ghost, are feral for Sleep Token also, and I just sadly cannot vibe with the latter. 🤷🏻

She passed away yesterday, aged only 64. Such is the way when you are a very self destructive person. I feel no sorrow, I feel only sheer relief.
Relief it wasn't drawn out for her, on a human level, despite her transgressions against me.

Studying Safeguarding laws for under 18s for my new job and good god there's SO MUCH. I have written 80 odd pages of notes and I'm maybe halfway through. It's a ride that's involved Abuse of all forms including the very nasty ones, Organised Crime, Radicalism, FGM, Laws and Acts...

I have been offered the role! Very exciting times ahead, and in this world of constant gloom and doom, I can put some good into it. Will it change the world, no, but it could change a life or two! ❤️
Well I have now had my job interview off the back of it! I think I did alright, got shown around the house, talked about all sorts of things with my potential future manager while I waited for admin to process my ID and whatnot. She seems lovely! Now it's all in the hands of fate. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Did an incredibly scary thing. I don't know that much will come of it, but I applied to be a support worker for 11-16 year olds who have Learning Disabilities, Trauma, or are recovering from Substance Abuse, in a respite foster home environment.
Hard work but rewarding work. I hope I get it!

My head-cannon wants to say Judith is Perpetua's daughter so badly! I'm not even given to fanfictions and cannons normally, but Ghost just has something that makes my imagination fire off in ways it never normally does! One day I'll write it into a cohesive plot. I've so much in this brain!
