It's tough to be Bearkitten.
A calico cat snoozes away blissfully on a light blue fleece blanket; the blanket has a marbled pattern. The cat is mostly white from her chonky waist down; she has a black tail and little pink toebeans. Black and orange markings on her face and a black nose; black and orange markings on her back. She is very loved.

In an attempt to post something happy: I present our lead plant from late May in full flower. It was a tiny twig of a thing when we planted it more than 15 years ago. Now it's maybe 2 1/2 feet taller than me? The picture doesn't really even do it justice; long spiky fuzzy purple and orange flowers.

This perfect angel torbie, who would never do anything underhanded like pick a fight with her sister, sends you some sunbeams. Try to get some sleep and we'll all try to take another swing at things again tomorrow.

We went to the Josephine Sculpture Park in Frankfort this afternoon; art mirrors life, etc. "The Sinking of US Diplomacy" by Jack Gron.

A calico cat does a "sploot" on a beige carpeted surface. Her back legs and behind are completely splayed out behind her. If you know people yoga, this sort of looks like sphynx posture. Her tail is over to the left of her body. Her markings are orange, black, and white. Her legs and tummy are white, and the black and orange markings wrap around her back, shoulders, face, and head.
