Monday is Memorial Day, and it’s a day set aside for the remembrance of those who have died in battle, not a happy holiday or a veterans holiday.

My husband @robertcooper-us.bsky.social and I were the FIRST gay couple to adopt children in the US, way back in 1985. We went on to adopt five wonderful kids — all adopted at birth.
