Hope they do spices next; I know of at least one spice company in the U.S. that is closing, at least in part because of tariffs. Taxing folks on things that could never be produced in the continental U.S. anyway...

I'm partial to Noble Made Dairy-Free Hot Buffalo Sauce. Good on almost everything. Don't know about the rest of the nation, though.

It’s sometimes harder than I would have expected to get folks to start listening to podcasts. Personally, I’m a big fan of podcasts; not sure why many others don’t feel the same.

I’ve never had either, but I feel like funnel cake would be better than fries with ice cream. Cold fries really aren’t the best. If they’re trying for hot starch plus ice cream, why not tempura ice cream?

I visited Vancouver last summer, and went to so many lovely places via public transit! The only tricky part was when I asked directions to the ferry, and it turned out I should have said the SeaBus (also rode some great ferries, too, though).

yes, ChatGPT is in schools; there are K-12 school districts and DOEs entering into AI contracts, too. so rather than panicking over the death of academia as a foregone conclusion—particularly when LLMs are frequently wrong—why don't we talk about the climate costs of AI?
