Being nice is cool.
Views my own.
On the gardening theme, my herb garden is also flourishing, particularly the mint. Mojitos and mint teas for everyone. If anyone has any other good recipes then send them my way.

My strawberries have grown really well this year considering they were half dead and dug up from last year. A little nurturing and safe environment goes a long way.

Until about a year ago I was totally anti e-reader, now I carry this ancient, beat up Kindle with a light contraption everywhere and refuse to get a new one. #Kindle #Books

I have a lot of different coloured pens, I tend to hold them when I take notes on Teams calls and sometimes they are visible to others in my hand. Sometimes I like to quickly swap the pen during calls more than once, to see if people notice. So far they haven't and it feels like my little secret.

We put our Christmas decorations up today, my house looks like a 90s Santa's grotto. My favourite is my angel tree topper which I think is from early 1970s.
Most of the decorations have been inherited or collected over the years, recent additions are mainly McDonald's Christmas Happy Meal toys 🤣

Finished reading Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir (who wrote The Martian which is also a movie) last night.
Set in the near future, school science teacher turned astronaut tries to save earth, a great story of selflessness and cooperation.
Loved this best book I've read this year 10/10 #BookReviews

I recently read Our Wives Under The Sea by Julia Armfield. This was a tricky one, I'm not 100% if I enjoyed it or not but it stayed with me. A supernatural horror story focused on a lesbian couple navigating the aftermath of a trip under the sea. 6/10 mainly because it ended abruptly. #BookReview

I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman was one of my favourite books this year. Dystopian setting, 40 women are locked in a room with some guards, then suddenly they aren't and find themselves alone in a vast, unforgiving place. Great, stays with you, but bleak. 9/10 #BookReviews

We enjoyed making these immensely. My kid loves both The Count and Minions so he was well chuffed. I am covered in paint and smell like raw pumpkin though.

It sure is, it's such a fun inclusive show. They have a character called Julia who has autism now too who my kid likes, but his fav is Count Von Count (he's the best one). Spent a small fortune on merch at the park last week though 😂

First one is Here One Moment by Liane Moriarty. Not my usual type of read but enjoyed. Bit long in places. A woman on a flight tells everyone when and where they'll die. Is it true or is she making it up, can chaos theory have any effect if it is true.
Nice message, picked up at the end. 6/10.
