Nevertheless, I thinks it makes for a good wallpaper/thumbnail. Maybe when I add the other two companions to the game, I'll update the image to include them as well. Also, when the game is released, I'll include this artwork, and other artwork made for the game as a bonus.

For weeks, I've been working on this artwork on the side. Basically whenever I find it convenient. It looks terrible, but it has that "soul" to it that I can't describe. Probably because I grew an attached to it after working on it for so long.

The Cathedral is only one of the three areas you must traverse in order to reach the boss at the end. I'm not planning for Remedy to be very long game. Knowing my track record, it's probably going to be very short; like 30 minutes of playtime. With the first area taking up half of that time.

I really wanted to make sure that everything is finished before proceed to implement proper Companion and Enemy AI. What I can promise is that it will be done eventually.

You could really see the Kingdom Heart inspiration starting to bleed through. Initially, I planned to just add the command menu and move on, but I figured that since I was here I might as well implement the rest of the items I'm planning to add. Just to get it out of the way.

Once I got past the hurdle of creating a melody, creating the rest of the song became straight-forward.

I figured that a battle theme should keep the player on their toes, and I think I did a good job in that department whilst not sounding repetitive or ear grating.

The song is named: "Courage".

(1 / 2) It's quite odd to think about to be honest, since I always struggle to coming up with music for months at a time. I think it's because I've always had trouble with the early stages of composing a song, as I had to start with absolutely nothing to go on.

(3 / 3) While the additions may not be very exciting, they're a fundamental aspect of the game's experience, and I thought it wouldn't be wise to neglect the Field scene for too long. I mean, It's certainly starting to feel like game now; an RPG if you want to go that far.

(2 / 3) As for the Consumable items, I intend for them to be one of the only two ways the player could heal and recover from status ailments. Right now, there is no way to obtain items without using commands, but I do have something planned later down the road.

(1 / 3) The camp menu is something I was conceptualizing in the background for months. It's one of the many things that draws inspiration from Kingdom Hearts, and I'm somewhat trying to go for an old computer game aesthetic.

I'm not really good at drawing characters. I'm more of a programmer, so the only good thing I had going for me is knowledge on how to use GIMP after years of playing with it along with other image editing tools. In my opinion, I think that knowledge really carried this art piece.

Here it is. It's certainly... one of the art pieces of all time. It's weird because one hand, it looks absolutely terrible, but on the other hand it feels... just right at the same time. Like it's still something I could feel proud of despite of that. Does anyone feel the same way?

I think I did a good job trying to convey that fact. I'm also starting to notice that I would much prefer using fewer instruments than anyone else.

The song is called: "Twilight Zone", and I think by listening, you could understand the game's tone.

The tone I'm trying to go for is the feeling on being trapped on another plane of existence and there's no clear way on how to get back. You're completely outside your comfort zone, and yet you still possess some hope in your heart.

Just wanted to share my experience.

I managed to retrieve my recovery key and get past it, but to say that I almost had a heart attack would be a understatement. I think the worst part is there was no way I could've seen that coming at the time. If I didn't have my old phone, that probably would've been it for me.
