Little gets done in Congress for two reasons.
One: Republicans don't want to get things done.
Two: Democrats aren't able to get things done.

What Democrats have is a voter engagement problem. Lots of people who agree with them don't get out and vote for them. And it's no wonder why -- why bother to vote for people who talk big but don't deliver on their promises?

Either way, this is an indictment on Schumer's leadership. He either knowingly let them vote the way they did, or he tried to stop them and couldn't. Both options does not a "leader" make.
