Psychedelic Nightmare by Church Whip is deranged Florida Man take on Black Metal. Cut out bin, punk-adjacent music from 2009-2013 is always going to hit for me. Ruin The Vision is probably top tier intros to a record for me.

One of my favorite oddities in my collection. Strega-Mezzanotte. Two dudes who've made some of my favorite underground USBM (Grinning Death's Head, Church Whip, Funerary Despair) of the 2010s made a score for an imaginary Giallo film.

when you're me, you don't usually wait as long as I just have to process film. But not having had a car from April 21st to May 9th puts a damper on that. In any case, with that you forget about photos you take, such as this gem.

Kind of an inspo I'm drawing on for this is McCoy's work on the Ancestors' art. I love the idea of there something being off in the mundane.

This was released 30 years after their debut, it sounds a lot like prime era Yes. It's not perfect but it has a song that sounds like it would be in Sonic Adventure 2.
