It’s actually insane that we sleepwalked into putting the entire concept of transferring money from one person to another in the hands of a company that objectively does not deserve that power, and can remove your ability to make a living at literally any time.

"Go Slowly Now, Sands of Time" is quite unique in terms of Carl Barks stories. Not just because it was illustrated in storybook form and was made during his retirement but also in it's somber themes and melancholic mood. Focussing on scrooge struggle to accept his mortality.
