Valve partnering with AMD to develop hybrid APUs certainly helped, but Ryzen's success also stands on it's own. And despite Nvidia finally starting to cooperate with open video drivers, their user support, both for Linux users and in general, has been abysmal for too long for me to ever go back.

I really wish Square One TV: Mathnet would get remastered DVDs. That's how I first knew that plotline.

Gerry Anderson did something similar with Terrahawks. The hero has a crop of clones on standby, all living regular lives, but could have their minds erased at a moment's notice to step into the shoes of the original. Chilling ethical implications in a series remembered for kooky mindscrew comedy.

Unlike the indignant reactions when Hillary proposed retraining coal miners, I'm sure people will take being plainly called too dumb to do certain jobs with calm dignity and grace.

The xbox layout is an abomination, and any controller that puts the dpad above the parallel analog sticks is okay in my book. Touch pads and gyro are better than analog sticks, but not as good as M+K. I'd play adventure games like Subnautica with them, but certainly not precision shooters.

Classic. Yeah, it's very unfair with the instant deaths and leaps of faith, but as with arcade games that blatantly cheat (MK2), it only makes eventually mastering it all the sweeter. And kids with sissy online guides and rewind cheat have nothing to complain about.

New Steam Machine being a little cube, on the other hand, brings back unpleasant flashbacks of the Ouya. I would have expected it to be at least microATX size. But I'm not one to judge a book by it's cover. There's nothing stopping people from building their own cube pc for the TV stand, like I have

Considering how many zoomers don't know how a file directory tree works, it could be a lot worse.

But then, people have been accused of hacking under the CFAA for using wget or a FTP client to download from public-facing pages.

When Wind Whistler was confronting Crunch the Rock Dog and he accused her of being unfeeling and not caring that he turned her friends to stone... that really hit me hard.

Hate it when people spread the misconception that autistics are lacking in emotional intelligence. We just don't put much stock in it like normies.

Charles Babbage is one of my heroes, and his writings are a gold mine.

Spyrius, Space Police, Ice Planet and Aquanauts. And Technic, of course. I never got into Rock Raiders.

Now, it's almost all licensed properties. No originality.
