Story addict since childhood. Thinker of many & uncommon thoughts. Challenger of perceptions. Independent. Hopeful. LDS ish. Different than many suppose.
Complex spoonie. Homebound frustrated by wanderlust. LOVES colors. And plants.
With all the stress in the world (and my early lifetime history of choir where Christmas music starts being practiced right after Halloween), I need it early this year.
So I did a thing.
There's no room for trees, so I have flat wall hangings for decor. I did extra today (& hurt for it.)
In 3 parts.

There's a movie I want to add to my collection. I don't think it's available, though.

I rarely feel like characters I see reflect me, but I keep coming back to this one bc she literally absorbs the pain around her until she can barely function and then has to bleed it out (water).

I got distracted trying to find the post I saw that prompted this thread (there have been many on this subject over recent weeks), but I did take a screenshot.

Don't want to scroll however far back up to find it, but I have this screenshot of a local news lady who checked into it. They're confirmed ICE by the SLCPD.

Can anybody tell what the purple ribbon on the suburban says? Here's the screen grab from 1:09

" ... the...
Stop the..."?

It was at the back of the 1st of 4 files full of printed articles.
The Abelam from Irian Jaya island (Papua New Guinea)

It's a 20+ page small print article, though, so it might be a bit before my eyes are up to reviewing if it says anything on yam size vs edible quality. Here's a few notes, though.

Faulty logic. Palestine is one of many reasons people were out protesting the regime. People can multi task.

I sent this to my friend and commented on how you totally read it in mom voice. She replied with this.

Here's one. I don't know where it came from, but maybe it has something you'll want to know?

I Love Hue

The game has spreads of colors across hue steps and then mixes them all up. The game is to get them all back in order in the least steps possible.

I was wrong. Opal isn't one of them. It's like quartz. But it is feldspar for the other ones, and it was sunstone that I mixed up with the opal with. I just remembered I took a picture of that page of the book.

A nobody who decided the best way to become a somebody was to become a hate-monger.

Funny (disturbing) how that applies to so many people.

From short TV series Myths & Monsters, 2017, I believe on Prime (also Netflix).

Hey - that's the name of a book!

I can't do the long panel of small text (why I need alt text) but it's a full page ad by Doctors Without Borders in one of those single fold papers. It also gives this website:

I just spent 1+ hours sorting another 50+ of my vast collection of saved pics and screenshots into organized files bc I got distracted trying to figure out if I had one that fits this.

I like structure, design, and colors. Cross stitch worked with that until it got too hard on my eyes.

This fits. I don't like messy food or heavy on the meat food. The middle class levels are my version of high-end. Also, I'm not going to do raw meat, so that rules out actually high-end. Mostly, I have issues with meat. And raw onions.

Just in case you're looking for these, too.
😁
I have no idea who this originated with, but I saw the loaf and thought of it immediately.

Having seen the same for beagles, I wonder if they make this for all dogs?
June 24, 2025 at 11:57 PM
Got it. Yeah, that confused me. I just saw Isaac and assumed that was *that* Isaac. Robert being the grandfather and Richard being the father's brother, or *that* Isaac's uncle. My bad.

I just got this in the mail. Hiding my info, I tried to snapshot the rest sufficiently. It seems ominous, but I'm too tired to sort out the implications. I thought you might want to, though.

(Sorry for limited alt text. I can't detail today.)
