I first read this as “pistol duets”! (Which is an equally sound idea)

I was about to suggest the real offense lies in mislabeling the said sandwich: as you pointed out, it’s PB&J. Omit the & at your own risk

That’s a keeper! Isn’t it amazing how lucky you can get if you’re up at 5am to drive an hour and return to that one spot with good light and great birds. Then you wait….and wait….to create and share a beautiful image. (You can catch up on sleep now😀)

I feel your envy and raise you two envies. The lighting deserves an honorable mention and the depth-of-field….and the sharpness….and the post processing. One helluva an image.

How many times have gone to that location in hopes of getting this shot? Time well spent: it’s an extraordinary image. Somewhere in the midland?

I think you’re right and seems the auto industry will be hit especially hard. But they are very good at first outright denial followed by finding someone to blame.
As power is accumulated, how far away are we from having to worry about a couple of FBI agents on the doorstep?

It’s our gulf! We dug the Panama Canal and let the water from the Pacific pour in to fill it up with water.

Thank you. Accurate and very well said.
I disagree with your conclusion. We have to do more, much more, than make more noise.

For me it was a picture of people around a track designed for racing crickets! Apparently new blood was needed

But would have tried to accomplish by noon some things intended to improve the lot of others

Whenever I see photos or video of Sen. Fetterman I’m reminded of a scene in the old TV show Friends, when Gunther has to admonish a man wearing loose gym shorts to “Put the mouse back in the house. This is a family place.”

I guess Elon will recuse himself when DOGE gets around to gutting the NHTSA.
I mean he wouldn’t…..people might think he had something to gain…..He wouldn’t? Would he?

They were fairly reliable in one respect: in a rear end collision the gas tank leaked, caught fire and allowed burning gas into the cabin.
It wasn’t so much the statistics as the horror that got everyone's attention

The history of things - especially everyday things - is often more compelling than the histories of great people

There isn’t a member of the GOP with the intestinal fortitude to voice an objection.

I agree with you about where we are.
But I firmly believe MAGA will not compromise unless/until a) they are hurt by this and b) until Dems demonstrate strength in the face of this power grab
February 7, 2025 at 10:25 PM
Dems are spineless, gutless, weak-kneed, lily livered and less.
Stand for something!
Tell me what that is.
Show me you’re as angry as I am.
If you don’t, I’ll find (and support) someone else.

When push comes to shove maybe we are powerless. But we don’t have to be acquiescent.

By this logic DOT should give preference to contractors married multiple times and with multiple kids

Doesn’t everyone have a friend who sucked the snake venom out of their leg that time they went hiking?
Seems like another job for him.

Which was all well and good until Richie dropped a whole sleeve of them into the fryer. The rest is history.
