I think you’re right and seems the auto industry will be hit especially hard. But they are very good at first outright denial followed by finding someone to blame.
As power is accumulated, how far away are we from having to worry about a couple of FBI agents on the doorstep?

Whenever I see photos or video of Sen. Fetterman I’m reminded of a scene in the old TV show Friends, when Gunther has to admonish a man wearing loose gym shorts to “Put the mouse back in the house. This is a family place.”

But I firmly believe MAGA will not compromise unless/until a) they are hurt by this and b) until Dems demonstrate strength in the face of this power grab
