I don't think you need to put "you can save money by not buying people gifts" on the news. That's like already the #1 reason not to buy gifts.

I like art films too but you don't want to get so deep into CINEMA you forget that these are just recordings of people dressing up and playing make believe.

People are certainly entitled to their opinions but a lot of the negative commentary here seems to be "this is silly!" And like... yeah. Making movies is kind of silly. It's all just for fun. You can make up any story you want.

I actually 100% agree with this.

When you make up the numbers, they can change quickly!

Smart media companies and studios will keep doing this. Build hype for properties on streaming, culminating in big-time can't miss theatrical experiences. I still think there will one day be fewer movie theaters but it's not going away entirely.

There's no way this guy believes this. I don't believe anyone actually believes this.
