New to Newmans Coachlines as #032 it was preserved in 2013 and restored in its Gibsons/Newmans hybrid livery.

In 2022 it was sold to Brommells Coachlines who own a fleet of Newmans Coachlines buses including a Mercedes-Benz O317.

New Zealand Railways Road Services #1493 [Chevrolet MS/NZMB] seen at the Glenbrook Vintage Railway.

It is immaculately preserved and was very, very fun to ride on.

We're very lucky to have such a wonderful vintage bus in preservation.

Identical to the Class 56 the Class 3 was ordered to replace the locos lost at sea.

It was preserved in Iquique and now at Oficina Humberstone.

The NRC was a standard gauge line from Iquique to Pisagua.

Royal Malaysian Air Force #M48-02 [Bombardier Global Express] seen at Air Center One.

It arrived just before midday on the 14th of July.

I presume the visit is related to a recent diplomatic visit from our government to theirs.

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of visiting Pōneke with @tau9.bsky.social <3

Among many other things was this WCC Stewart Buddy Stewart built c. 1930s.

It is one of ~4 Stewarts here and one of ~3 council trucks in preservation here.

One of the ex-Ohai Railway Board shunters seen at Steam Inc.

Built by Mitsubishi in 1967 for the ORB, it is one of two twin 0-6-0 shunters built for them.

I suspect they're clones of the NZR DSB or DSA Class shunters, but I can not be sure.

Steam Inc. regularly use this one as a heavy shunter.

ARA Hertiage Buses №2031 [MAN SG242/CWI-VÖV].

New to the Auckland Regional Authority, it passed to Stagecoach Auckland and NZBus (t/a North Star).

After a stint with AA Coaches, it was preserved by AHB in late 2024.

It is seen in our leased yard shortly before we gave it a clean back in January.

Karapiro Charters and Tours' Austral HD1 seen passing through Kirikiroa.

The HD1 replaced the Tourmaster (I think) and had a profound influence on former NZ operator SDK Ltd.

The HD1 was also produced by Austral's New Zealand subsidiary on the MAN 22.360 chassis.

Abbots Motors №4 & 6 [Scania K114IB/Australian Autobus, MAN 15.280/Kiwi Bus Builders] parked up at the old Wiri depot.

Founded in the late 40s, Abbots remains the oldest bus company in Tāmaki Makaurau, and their current charter livery appears inspired by Greyhound Australia.
