Added a few new additions to the tank!! Picked up a fire shrimp such a beautiful creature, and yes I totally named it jacque!! I also picked up a leopard nassarius snail which is neat. Can’t wait to get a pair of clowns for the tank next!!

On December 17th I adopted my first ever fish!! 🐠 What an incredible experience it has been from acclimating to watching it settle into the tank!! Oh ya I almost forgot it’s a yellow watchman goby!!

Black Friday was a blast! Upgraded to a bigger tank and picked up a small powerhead. I had a blast redoing my aquascape too! Today, I got crafty and made a custom acrylic lid to cut down on evaporation and help my heater work less hard.

After writing a biology lab exam and having to define the habitat, energy source, reproduction, adaptations, and draw / label the anatomy of a Pisaster from scratch. I found it immensely rewarding to observe this beautiful starfish at the reef store. I got so excited to see the tube feet in action!

Was at my local reef store to pick up some test kits and to admire the coral. But I also wanted to check if they still had a yellow watchman, watched this guy for an hour!Eventually it swam up to me placing a warm smile on my face!
