It's a surprisingly underrrated ship that hits you out of NOWHERE, but is very wholesome when you look at their supports. I've only ever seen one artist genuinely make art of them (I think you know who), but I have commissioned art of them (shown below)

Edeleth all the way, baby! While I like both the Male and Female Byleth versions, I generally prefer the Male Byleth version (partially because I like his design more, lol.)

I'm also very impartial to Hilclaude (Claude x Hilda), though Edeleth will always be my all-time favorite.

This was actually a remaster of sorts for a VERY old Sothstrid piece made at least 15 years ago.

Unfortunately I don't know the artist to the original, as I had found it randomly on Gelbooru, and whoever posted it there didn't credit the original artist.

Some old #Dorogrid yuri I commissioned from @sethkiel.bsky.social.

So then I got the final result, which was... this. They're still in a hot spring for some reason (I had never said anything about them being in one when I suggested it), but at least it was closer to what I had in mind. Don't think it was worth $420, though.

Now, at this point, I really, REALLY wanted to tell them I wasn't interested, but I didn't want to hurt their feelings, so... I said yes. And that was a huge mistake. First of all, they got the idea COMPLETELY wrong. Somehow, they drew Astrid giving Micaiah a massage in a HOT SPRING:

Another DMs screenshot. I had shared an interest in wanting to explore a relationship between Astrid and Micaiah, to which they replied "so what do you thought about it?" (sic). I replied with "I had an idea a while back about Astrid and Micaiah sharing fond memories with each other, including ones involving Sothe, and that would be how Astrid later realizes she likes Sothe romantically." The artist replied with "That will be surely amazing! so you like to have it in realistic beautiful art form?" (sic) Basically another "subtle" way of making me commission them.

Now, they had worded it in a way that sounded like they wanted my permission or something to draw one of my ideas, so I said "sure." I didn't know at the time that they were suggesting I commission them. Then they asked me what my "budget" was, and I immediately realized the hole I had gotten into.

So back in Trump's first term, he sent everyone a "special" two dollar bill for Christmas. Until now, I just put it in the back of my desk and forgot about it.

Well, since one UGLY bill just passed today, I have torn it to shreds out of protest, and used the pieces to spell a very special message.
