You'll need some skis this time of year, but I'd imagine it's pretty amazing. In other news, I've got this place reserved near polebtidge soon ish and figure on doing a bit of snowshoeing.

18 short days away to my next bikepacking adventure. Disconnecting for a few days and thinking about the positive I can do in the world whilst I cycle through the desert vs helplessly watching the parade of horrors on the news could do me some good, I'm hoping.

I went for a bike ride yesterday and then my bike went for a ride today. My freehub opted for ultimate freedom and was only engaging intermittently, but I made the whole day, so that was a bonus. Had to bail on day 2, bi6t out was still a great time on the Chilly Con Cheeno.

Oh hi. I mostly post stuff about the out-of-doors, hiking, biking, and the like. This place seems less depressing than most and not actively leaning into enshittification, so I hope you all are ready for some pictures of bikes tipped over in front of scenery and/or just scenery in general.
